Zach’s formal education began in Nova Scotia, where his independent studies helped establish a nutrition practicum alongside the historic athletic therapy, and strength and conditioning resources available for student-athletes at Acadia University. His post graduate studies at British College of Osteopathic Medicine, focused on somatic relationships between visceral and myofascial stress patterns. This institution provided him thousands of hours in the lab learning hands-on dissection in addition to gaining experience leading rotations at the student run clinic.
Zachary currently maintains good standing with provincial, national, and international osteopathic organizations. He represents the province of BC as a volunteer board member responsible for properly promoting the visibility of osteopathy. Specifics in visceral and cranial structures make up the majority of the continuing education topics he has invested into, as well he enjoys sharing many foreign tactics and techniques at the professional level.
Chronic pain is Zachary’s specialty. His relentless refinement of assessment will increase your awareness of the unique daily demands that are placed upon your soft tissues and spine. HIs osteopathic principles combined with his biomechanics approach will take advantage of your intrinsic resources, gently and naturally restoring balance throughout/among your intensions in order to being ease among your dynamic movement postures.
When not intentionally lost in the wilderness, Zachary can be found continuing his childhood curiosity towards the building science of machines, architecture, and human bodies.
